Learning how to work on a bike is a life skill and an introduction to bicycle maintenance. The Lincoln Bike Kitchen program provides youth ages 11-13 with a bicycle, a short class on caring for their bike and safe cycling skills. The program requires that the youth and a parent or guardian* attend a one hour class. Upon complete of the class the participant will take home their bicycle. Registration for Learn-A-Bike is open on the first of the month and closes two weeks prior to class or when registration spots are filled. Request are subject to availability. LBK will need to know the height of the child as part of this request.
Education Class/Pick-Up: Education class will be held the second Tuesday following month after registration. Classes begin at 6 p.m.
*Due to space limitations we ask that other family members not attend the class with the youth and adult.
