Volunteers Keep Us Rolling

Lincoln Bike Kitchen is powered by volunteers, and we're grateful for the incredible community support we've received.

At this time, we are temporarily pausing new volunteer applications and orientations while we focus on training, supporting, and integrating the many new volunteers who have recently joined our team. With limited staff and a growing volunteer base, we want to ensure our current volunteers receive the guidance, training, and hands-on experience they need to be successful.

We expect to reopen volunteer orientations in late summer or early fall. Please check back for updates.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with LBK and helping transform donated bicycles into reliable transportation for people in our community who are facing financial or situational hardship.

What We're Looking For

When volunteer opportunities reopen, we'll continue to seek people of all skill levels and backgrounds, including:

Multilingual speakers — Help us serve our diverse community
Mechanics — Share your bicycle repair skills
Office helpers — Assist with administrative tasks
Finance professionals — Support financial planning and oversight
IT volunteers — Help with website updates, data systems, and technology support
Anyone willing to help — There are many ways to contribute
